The next 4 months were no walk in the park for either one of us. As I was extremely sick, poor Chad went from having an upbeat, energetic wife, to being married to someone who can't keep anything down and sleeps all the time. He was nothing but supportive. Taking me into the emergency room and helping me with anything I couldn't do for myself (which was pretty much everything).
On October 30th, I lost my grandpa, who I have been very close to my whole life. Three weeks before he died, I went to the home where my grandpa was being cared for and told him the news. A smirk went accross his face and I then asked him, "Grandpa, is it a boy or a girl?" Keep in mind that I was only 6 weeks pregnant and even a doctor wouldn't be able to tell us this for atleast 12 weeks. He then told me without hesitation that we were having a girl and on January 16th, the doctor confirmed just that.

We decided to name our little angel Makayla Rae. We just love the name Makayla and Rae comes from her grandma Moultrie who we love very much and has been a huge support for not only my husband growing up but for me as well during the time I have had the pleasure of knowing her.
Makayla loves her daddy! Her movements and reactions when he talks to her are priceless and I know she's just going to have him wrapped around her little finger. (As if she doesn't already!)
Our little girl is due on May 31st and has been very eager the past couple weeks to meet her family. As of right now, we are doing our best to prevent going into labor for just two more weeks. We're very excited to have our little angel in our arms!
